Redmi K40 Vs Mi 10i: Compare Cameras, Specs, Features & Price

The Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi K40 Series includes Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+.

A month ago, Xiaomi released its upper-mid-range segment device Mi 10i under the Mi 10 series in India with some exciting features at a competitive price.

In this article, we compare the Camera, specifications, Features, Price, and Availability of the newly released mobile Redmi K40 VS Mi 10i.


Redmi K40 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+E4 AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 1,300 nits brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Mi 10i features a large 6.67″ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The display sports an 84% NTSC color gamut with a peak brightness of up to 450 nits.


It equipped with an octa-core processor-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC Chipset.

The Smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset.

RAM and Storage

The device is available in four Optons – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option, and lastly, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

Mi 10i available in three variant– 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB.



It features a triple rear camera setup that assembles with a 48-MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor, 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and last but not least, a 5-MP macro lens for photography. There are a 20MP single front-facing camera and video calling.

Xiaomi Mi 10i a quad-camera equips with a 108MP primary sensor. Furthermore, the smartphone hosts an 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera encased inside the punch-hole display.


Redmi K4O runs Android 11 based MIUI 12 (Skin) out of the box.

Mi 10i runs on Android 10 based MIUI 12 out of the box.


There’s a 4,520 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

There’s a big 4820mAh battery with 33W fast wired-charging technology and it also supports USB PD charging protocols.


It include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth v5.1, and USB Type-C port, etc.

 Mi 10i includes Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and more.



It also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor and double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass protection. 

In Mi 10i there is no support for an in-display fingerprint scanner, the smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.


Redmi K4O is available in four different colors option: Dreamland, Icy White, and Glossy Black, and the price information are as follows.

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – CNY 2,199 (Approx. Rs. 24,822)

Xiaomi Mi 10i will be sold in three different colour variants of Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, and Atlantic Blue.
