Just a few days ago we saw how the company introduced new dynamic filters for the sky. One thing that has not been announced, although introduced with MIUI 12, is the ability to monitor the framerate of your device for each application. Let’s see how to do it together.
The functionality that talks about are called Frame Rate Monitor. As the name suggests, it allows us to see the FPS of the device when we use applications. In particular, gamers will be more than happy to use this feature, especially if they want to customize the experience through the ” Turbo videogames ” app. But how to do it? Below is the guide
- Go to “Additional Settings” from the “Settings” menu.
- Select “Developer options“.
- You will find the “Power monitor” option near the bottom, select it.
- Tap on “Start” under the Frame Rate Monitor Tools section.
In this way, as you can see on the right of the upper image, we will be able to see the frame rate of the display on our device. There is also the possibility of selecting the transparent mode: through this mode, it will be possible to make the piece of a display showing the FPS opaque and not annoying. As mentioned above, this feature can be useful to players: in fact, through the game menus, it will be possible to set the frames per second of each video game in such a way as to always have an experience at the height.
